Holiday photography, at your own pace

Remember your time in Phu Quoc with photographs that feel like you. A relaxed session for couples, families, solo travellers and friends, planned around your people, your setting and the light.

Your experience

Clear planning makes room for a relaxed session.

You want to be in the photographs together, not spend the holiday taking turns behind a phone. But finding a setting, choosing the right time and keeping everyone comfortable can feel like another thing to organise.

We help shape a manageable session around what matters to you: a walk by the sea, time together or portraits that mark this trip. Simple direction leaves room for movement, conversation and the moments in between.

Outcomes we plan for

A collection that feels like your time here.

01

Be in the memory together

A personal collection that includes you and the people you travelled with, rather than leaving someone behind the camera.

02

A setting that suits your trip

Location and timing considered alongside your accommodation, comfort and the photographs you value.

03

Less pressure on the day

Simple direction and agreed priorities, with room for different personalities and the needs of your family or group.

04

A clear handover

Selection, editing, delivery and personal-use terms agreed before the session is confirmed.

01 / Who it is for

Your people. Your way of remembering.

For couples, this might be an unhurried walk together. For families, it may be a mix of shared portraits and time for children to play. Solo travellers can enjoy a portrait-led session without relying on strangers to take the picture; friends and groups can plan both everyone-together photographs and smaller combinations.

Tell us who is joining, what you are celebrating and which photographs matter most. We build the plan around the people present, rather than asking everyone to fit the same poses or pace.

Holiday photography is a personal portrait session, not continuous coverage of an event. A surprise proposal, wedding or pre-wedding shoot, personal film or private event needs its own brief so that coordination, coverage and deliverables can be agreed separately.

02 / Feeling comfortable

You do not need to know how to pose.

The photographer gives simple guidance on where to stand, how to move and where to look. There is time for gently directed portraits as well as the less planned moments between them. You can tell us when a pose or activity does not feel like you.

A few reference photographs help us understand whether you prefer something playful, quiet, candid or more composed. Share the feeling you like, along with any photographs or angles you would rather avoid.

References guide the conversation; they are not a promise to reproduce another photograph. Your surroundings, available light and the people with you will shape the final images. The aim is a coherent record of your own time here.

When choosing a setting, compare light, access and shooting conditions in Khem Beach and Sao Beach: a Phu Quoc photography guide or Grand World Phu Quoc: a day-to-night photography guide. Confirm your itinerary and access arrangements before booking.

03 / Setting and light

Choose the setting before filling the itinerary.

A beach, resort setting or town walk can each tell a different story. Start with where you are staying, the atmosphere you like and how much travelling or walking feels comfortable. One well-chosen setting can leave more time for photographs than a long list of stops.

We discuss the light alongside the route, rather than fixing a sunset promise. Cloud, wind, rain, tides where relevant and activity at the location can change the plan. The linked location guides can help you compare settings; current access and conditions still need checking for your date.

A resort stay does not automatically include permission for an outside photographer. Venue access, organised setups and any permit requirements must be confirmed for the proposed session. Transport, boats, entry charges and venue fees are only included when listed in the written scope.

04 / Preparing together

Keep the preparation light, especially with children.

Choose clothes you can sit, walk and move in comfortably. Coordinating colours can work without everyone dressing identically. Bring water, sun protection, suitable footwear and the small essentials your group needs. Discuss outfit changes in advance so they do not take over the session.

For families, tell us the children’s ages, usual rest times and anything that helps them feel at ease. Let us know about mobility, sensory or other access needs before choosing the route. A short list of priority group combinations helps us use the available time thoughtfully.

A parent or responsible adult remains with children and supervises them throughout. Photography is not childcare or supervision in the water. We respect a child’s comfort and do not force a pose or an activity; shoreline portraits can be planned without entering the sea.

05 / Time on the day

A clear plan, with room to breathe.

The session duration is agreed before booking. It depends on group size, locations, outfit changes and the photographs you want, not a single timetable for every traveller. Your confirmation should make clear how travel between stops and any planned breaks fit within that time.

We confirm a meeting point and start time, and discuss travel buffers with you. Arrive ready to begin and let us know promptly if you are delayed. A late arrival may reduce photography time because the light, venue access or the photographer’s next commitment may limit how far the session can move.

On the day, we work through the agreed priorities while responding to the people and conditions in front of us. An additional stop, longer coverage or an outfit change beyond the plan needs available time and agreement on any additional cost.

06 / Your photographs

Know what you will receive, and how you can use it.

Before confirmation, we agree the number or selection basis of edited photographs, who makes the selection, the editing scope, file format, delivery method and expected delivery date. If your choices or feedback affect that date, we explain the dependency in advance.

The agreed edited selection is the deliverable, not every camera file. RAW files, extensive retouching, extra revisions, prints, albums, video and rush delivery are not included unless specifically agreed. Tell us about an access problem, missing file or mismatch with the agreed delivery so we can review it with you.

Personal sharing follows the licence in your agreement; business advertising, resale or reuse by a hotel or other third party needs separate permission. Hiring us is not permission to use your portraits in our marketing: portfolio use is a separate decision, especially for children. Download and back up your files within the agreed access window.

07 / Booking with confidence

Agree the details before reserving your date.

Send your travel dates, who is joining, where you are staying and the session you have in mind. We discuss availability and provide the proposed scope and price for your approval. There is no single price for every combination of people, locations and requirements; check the written total and exclusions before paying.

An enquiry does not reserve a date. A booking is confirmed when we have provided written confirmation and the agreed booking conditions have been met, including any required initial payment. Payment stages, changes, cancellation and any refund arrangements are set out before confirmation in line with the booking policy.

If conditions are unsuitable, we discuss an adjusted time, a suitable alternative setting or another date where possible. Alternatives depend on safety, access and availability, and are agreed with you. Rain does not create an automatic refund or loss of payment: any change or cancellation is handled under the agreed terms. Tell us early if your travel plans change.

Before we begin

A few useful answers.

We are not used to being photographed. Is that a problem?

No posing experience is needed. We offer simple direction and use your preferences to shape the session. Tell us if you would like a quieter approach, more movement or fewer posed photographs. You do not need to perform throughout the session.

Can you help us choose a location?

Yes. Share where you are staying, the atmosphere you like and how much travelling or walking suits you. We discuss an appropriate setting and time, then confirm access requirements. Resort permissions, transport and venue charges are not automatically included.

Can we bring children or a larger family group?

Tell us the group size, children’s ages, rest routines and any access needs before booking. We can discuss priorities and a suitable pace. A parent or responsible adult must supervise children throughout; the session does not include childcare or water supervision.

How long does a session last?

The duration is agreed for your group and plan before confirmation. Check how travel, breaks and outfit changes count toward that time. If you would like an extra location or more coverage, ask in advance so availability and any revised cost can be confirmed.

How many photographs will we receive, and when?

Your written confirmation sets the edited quantity or selection basis, who selects the images, editing scope and expected delivery date. RAW files, every camera file, unlimited revisions and rush delivery are not standard inclusions. Any selection or feedback deadline affecting delivery is agreed beforehand.

What happens if it rains or our travel plans change?

Contact us as early as possible. Depending on conditions and availability, we can discuss another time, an alternative setting or rescheduling. Changes, cancellation and any refund are handled under the written booking terms; neither a replacement date nor a particular sunset can be guaranteed.

How do we book, and what will it cost?

Send an enquiry with your dates, group and preferences. We discuss availability and provide a written scope and price, including exclusions and any required initial payment. An enquiry alone does not hold the date; confirmation follows written agreement and fulfilment of the booking conditions.

Can we keep our photographs private?

Tell us your privacy preferences when enquiring. Permission for our portfolio or promotional use is separate from booking a session, including for children’s images. Personal sharing follows your agreed licence; advertising or reuse by another business needs separate permission. Review the Image Usage & Permissions page before confirming.
